CORVO CELEBRATES 200 YEARS WITH SICILIA DOC RISERVA

In 2024, to mark its 200th anniversary, Corvo introduced a special Sicilia DOC Riserva. This exceptional wine project is crafted from Nero d’Avola, a native grape variety grown in central and southern Sicily, and represents a meticulous journey from vineyard to bottle, where every step in the winemaking process is dedicated to achieving outstanding organoleptic quality.

The journey begins with the careful timing of grape ripeness, laying the foundation for a bold red wine that reaches its full potential through extended maceration during fermentation. The result is a wine with 14% ABV, offering depth and character. This pure Nero d’Avola blend is created from a selection of different aging processes, delivering a wine defined by its complexity, delightful flavor, and tactile elegance on the palate.

A masterful balance of aging in concrete tanks and wood yields a blend with a lush and vibrant mouthfeel. This baroque organoleptic experience is imbued with warm notes of marasca cherry and an undeniably Sicilian soul. A perfect companion to the rich holiday table, Corvo’s Sicilia DOC Riserva is a celebration in itself, embodying two centuries of tradition and innovation.
